A Woman Empowered – Shweta Shalini
Born in Bihar in the year 1980, Shweta Shalini was disciplined even as a young girl owing to the army culture at her house. A born leader, her skills were cultivated in the early student days in school and college. She was smart and participated enthusiastically in co-curricular activities, especially Debates and Public Speaking with a good command over English and Hindi. This opened ample possibilities for her to be recognized as a leader and she is now recognized as a youth icon at global platforms.
She envisions India as a Superpower. She also believes this is possible only if there is change in the grass root level of the nation. This requires the empowerment of people in the rural community and she is striving to uplift them. For this, she trusts the power of technology and the last mile implementation of policies.
